Curriculum MS-4022 – Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot in Copilot Studio
Module 1.0 – Introduction to Copilot Studio and AI in Microsoft 365 Understand how Microsoft 365 Copilot combines large language models (LLMs) with enterprise data. Explore Copilot Studio architecture, environment setup, and licensing. Learn about Microsoft Graph, Azure OpenAI Service, and Copilot extensions. Identify key Copilot roles, permissions, and integration boundaries. Configure Copilot Studio environments, data connections, and responsible AI settings.
Module 2.0 – Building Custom Copilots and Conversation Flows Design, author, and publish Copilots using the visual conversation canvas. Create multi-turn dialogues, adaptive prompts, and AI orchestrations. Use variables, conditions, entities, and topics to drive dynamic chat experiences. Incorporate pre-built AI skills and custom logic using Power Fx expressions. Deploy Copilots in Microsoft Teams, websites, and mobile environments.
