IT SECURITY CERTIFICATIONS
CompTIA Security+ validates knowledge of communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, operational security, and general security concepts.
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) is an advanced level security credential that proves competency in enterprise security; risk management; incident response; research and analysis; and integration of computing, communications, business disciplines, and enterprise-level cybersecurity threats. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification.
Microsoft MTA Security (Exam 98-367) Microsoft MTA Security is an introductory certification that builds an understanding of security layers, operating system, network Security and security software.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Sponsored by ISC, the CISSP certification provides information security professionals with not only an objective measure of competence but a globally recognized standard of achievement. This credential is ideal for mid- and senior-level managers who are working toward or have already attained positions as CISOs, CSOs or Senior Security Engineers.
Ethical Hacker (CEH) They say to beat a hacker you have to think like one. This certification is for an individual who is usually employed with the organization and who can be trusted to undertake an attempt to penetrate networks and/or computer systems using the same methods as a Hacker.
Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) This class will immerse students in an interactive environment where they will acquire a fundamental understanding of various computer & network security threats such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, virus & backdoors, emails hoaxes, sex offenders lurking online, loss of confidential information, & social engineering.
Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) CCISO is not a technical course but a leadership course designed specifically for experienced InfoSec professionals. The CCISO course covers the 5 CCISO Domains with deep dives into scenarios taken from the experience of the CISOs who contributed to the building of the Body of Knowledge, course, & exam.
Certified Network Defender (CND) Covers the protect, detect, & respond approach to network security. Contains hands-on labs based on major network security tools &techniques to provide network administrators real-world expertise on network security technologies & operations.

A: We have several programs depending on your budget. However, our most sought out program is the Cyber Security Professional program (link) which helps you become skilled and proficient in defending against unforeseen and incoming security threats.
A: Individuals interested in cybersecurity can apply to be in any one of our competitive programs, which are Instructor-led classes that aids in certification at our testing facility once training is done, and labs for implementing techniques you’ll use in a real-world environment. Although you can find most information out there for free, being part of a structured program really sets us, at The Academy apart. These courses all prepare you to take exams for approved DoD 8570 Information Security Certifications. DoDD 8570.01 is now a part of a larger initiative that falls under the guidelines of DoDD 8140. DoDD 8140 provides guidance and procedures for the training, certification, and management of all government employees who conduct Information Assurance functions in assigned duty positions.
