Overview

The objective of the Cyber Security Professional program is to prepare an individual to gain specialized knowledge and skills in the area of Information Assurance within the field of IT. The preparation should produce individuals who are capable of fulfilling the role of an IT security administrator in a small, medium and/or large IT infrastructure. The Cyber Security Professional Program offers a hands-on approach to learning and uses interactive tools and easy-to-follow labs to help students learn the general theory needed to efficiently implement security in networks. The Cyber Security Professional Program allows for quick
application of learned concepts to encourage students to consider additional education in IT, and/or a profession in IT. It uses easy-to-follow, step-by-step labs that provide detailed instructions and feedback to help students reach the final solution. The Program entails highly interactive activities that stimulate learning and improve knowledge retention.

Program Description

This program is comprised of content drawn from 4 courses which are well-regarded within the IT security field, namely the ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and CompTIA Security+. Over the span of two 6-week terms (first 6 weeks of CISSP and CEH, second 6 weeks of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate and CompTIA Security+), students will be exposed to the course curricula from these four certification courses, in preparation for successfully passing the certification exams for the four related courses.

Please note: In order to obtain the IT Industry certifications covered by the contents of this program, the graduate must sit for and pass the following exams:
