The objective for the Application Architect Professional – Online is to teach individuals how to design and implement Microsoft.NET applications for a PC running a Microsoft Windows operating system. The student will also learn how to write applications which access data from a SQL database using Microsoft ActiveX data objects to access and manipulate data sources and display information on the SharePoint Server Platform.
The core training for this program is defined by the competencies emphasized in attaining the (MCTS) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification credential in the.Net Application Development Platform, SQL Server 2010 SP1 Platform and SharePoint 2010 Platform. This certification ensures that the holder possesses competencies in developing, maintaining, and managing .NET applications. Students in the Application Architect Program will be provided with hands-on learning in order to ensure that they receive ample experience in both structured learning and “real world” environments.
Upon completion of the program requirements, the student should be prepared to complete the following third-party, information technology certification exams:
