NoteDA-100 is the replacement course for 20778 which is scheduled for retirement on Jan 31, 2021.

DA-100T00 course will discuss the various methods and best practices that are in line with business and technical requirements for modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data with Power BI. The course will also show how to access and process data from a range of data sources including both relational and non-relational data. This course will also explore how to implement proper security standards and policies across the Power BI spectrum including datasets and groups. The course will also discuss how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards for sharing and content distribution. Finally, this course will show how to build paginated reports within the Power BI service and publish them to a workspace for inclusion within Power BI.

This course is based on the objectives of the course version DA-100T00-A.

The primary audience for this course is BI professionals who need to analyze data utilizing Power BI.

The secondary audiences for this course are technically proficient business users.

Prerequisites

This course requires that you meet the following prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality.
Basic knowledge of data warehouse schema topology (including star and snowflake schemas).
Some exposure to basic programming concepts (such as looping and branching).
An awareness of key business priorities such as revenue, profitability, and financial accounting is desirable.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications – particularly Excel.
