Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Training Description
Duration: 1 day
During this one-day boot camp, student will learn the foundational knowledge on the benefits of adopting cloud services and software as a service (SaaS). Specific focus on Microsoft 365 Cloud Service offerings. This introduction to Microsoft Azure will examine the difference between Microsoft 365 and Office 365. Students will receive an in-depth review of 365 Microsoft. Included in in this review is, comparing Microsoft 365 on-premises services versus Microsoft 365 cloud services, Enterprise mobility in Microsoft 365, analysis of how Microsoft 365 services provide collaboration.
Also, students will learn how security, compliance, privacy, and trust are handled in Microsoft 365. As well as a review of Microsoft 365 subscriptions, licenses, billing, and support.
Program Objective
This boot camp is intended for IT professionals who want to learn how to deploy and manage cloud services for their organization, gain foundational knowledge on cloud fundamentals. Including considerations and benefits of adopting cloud service in general and the Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model specifically, with a general focus on Microsoft 365 cloud service offerings.
Upon Completion of this boot camp, students will be able to:
- Differentiate between the various cloud service models
- Identify the key difference between Microsoft 365 and Office 365
- Plan for migration to Microsoft 365 services
- Identify key differences between Microsoft on-premises services and Microsoft 365 cloud services
- Define enterprise mobility in Microsoft 365
- Identity how Microsoft 365 services support teamwork
- Describe Identities, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid identity
- Describe cloud device management and protection, including the use of Intune
- Describe data protection, including the use of Azure Information protection
- Describe compliance in general and the compliance features in Microsoft 365
- Describe Microsoft 365 subscriptions, licenses, billing, and support
***Students who complete this training will be able to take and pass the MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals exam***
Prerequisites
It is recommended that IT professionals interested in attending this boot camp have previous knowledge or experience in:
- An IT environment
- On corresponding Microsoft on-premises products, such as Exchange server, SharePoint, Office Professional, AD RMS and others
- Addressing business/legal/security requirements for IT
