AutoCAD Essentials Training
Duration: 3 days
Three hands-on days producing real drawings in AutoCAD. You learn to draw accurately, organise work with layers and blocks, dimension and annotate to a standard, and plot to scale. Built for South Florida’s construction, engineering and architecture firms, and taught by instructors who use the software professionally.

- Navigate the AutoCAD interface and set up a drawing correctly
- Draw and edit geometry accurately using coordinates and object snaps

Module 2: Drawing and Editing
Lines, arcs, polylines, object snaps, and the modify commands you will use daily.
Module 3: Organising a Drawing
Layers, properties, blocks, attributes and external references.
Module 4: Annotation
Text styles, dimension styles, leaders, tables and hatching to a standard.
Module 5: Layouts and Output
Paper space, viewports, plot styles, plotting to scale, and publishing a drawing set.
