(Miami, Florida) November 6, 2004 – The Academy of South Florida,Inc. (“Academy”) today announced that it has met Microsoft’s requirements for the “Learning Solutions” and “Advanced Infrastructure” Competencies within the Microsoft Gold Partner Program.. The Gold Partner level, where The Academy is certified by Microsoft, is the highest level in the program.
“This is a significant milestone for The Academy, as it demonstrates our strong skill set around all of the core Microsoft solutions we focus on,” noted The Academy’s President Christopher Perez and Director of Technical Development Ben Tosado. “The competencies cover the Windows Server platform, Exchange, SQL Server, SMS, MOM and ISA Server – the core of our Microsoft business. Essentially, we’ve achieved Microsoft’s highest level of certification possible for all our areas of core competency.”
Achieving the Microsoft Competency certification required a combination of employee technical certifications, multiple customer references and other business measures. The Learning Solutions Competency focuses on expertise in providing high-quality training and full-service learning solutions on Microsoft software to individuals and organizations of every size worldwide, while the Advanced Infrastructure Competency focuses on more advanced solutions including Active Directory Design, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Systems Management Server and Microsoft Operations Manager.
The Academy remains one of only a handful of Gold Certified Partners in the South Florida area, and one of an even smaller number focused on the Medium Business market space.
